Wedding Receptions
Arkholme Village Hall is located in the picturesque and tranquil village of Arkholme in the heart of the Lune Valley in the Lancashire countryside. With incredible panoramic views, this stunning and immaculate venue will be sure to provide you with a wedding that is truly unique.
The hall is light and spacious with sets of double doors opening onto a terrace with superb views.
With plenty of space to create distinct areas for dining, relaxing and dancing this hall has it all. There are excellent kitchen facilities too, which your caterer will approve of. Close by is plenty of accommodation both in the village and in the stunning market town of Kirkby Lonsdale just down the road.
There is ample space in the grounds for a marquee and mobile catering vehicles, and outdoor areas for a barbecue or hog roast. It also has the benefit of generous on-site parking.
Charges
Wedding receptions are charged at a fixed price of £1500 allowing you full access to the hall from 3pm Friday until 3pm Sunday. Mid week wedding receptions can occasionally be accommodated outside school term time.
A deposit of £500 is required at the time of booking. This will be deducted from your final invoice.
A month before your wedding date when we take the outstanding hire charge balance payment (£1000) we will also request an additional £300 surcharge payment. This £300 will be fully refunded after the date of your wedding providing that you do not bring any of your own alcohol for consumption during the event. We are sorry that we have had to bring in this additional surcharge but this is due to repeated breaking of our terms and conditions.
What's included?
This price includes the bar being stocked and staffed for your event, tables, chairs, crockery and glassware (wine, champagne and water glasses). Please note you are not permitted to bring any alcohol yourselves if you are using the bar service for your wedding (you will not receive your £300 surcharge refund if you disregard this condition). Your caterer will be able to use our commercial kitchen facilities. You also have exclusive use of the outside space. The hall holds up to 135 seated for a wedding breakfast and can accommodate up to 180 for an evening reception
