Arkholme Village Hall is located in the picturesque and tranquil village of Arkholme in the heart of the Lune Valley in the Lancashire countryside. With incredible panoramic views, this stunning and immaculate venue will be sure to provide you with an event that is truly unique.
The hall is light and spacious with sets of double doors opening onto a terrace with superb views.
With plenty of space to create distinct areas to meet your needs this hall has it all. There are excellent kitchen facilities too, which your caterer will approve of.
There is ample space in the grounds for a marquee and mobile catering vehicle or bouncy castle, and outdoor areas for a barbecue or hog roast. It also has the benefit of generous on-site parking.
Private Hire
Charges
Our standard charge is £40 per hour for the duration of your event, additional set up and clear up time is charged at £10 per hour after the first hour.
A reduced hire rate is available for charity fundraisers and local good causes, subject to approval of the management committee, please ask for further details.
Our committee room can be hired alone at a rate of £25 per hour.
Parties for primary school age children are charged at a fixed price of £50. Please ensure you leave the hall clean and tidy (cleaning cupboard is near the toilets) after use otherwise we will need to charge you a clean up fee.
A deposit of £50, or the full amount if less, is required at the time of booking. This will be deducted from your final invoice. For large parties we also ask for a refundable deposit of £200
Bar services
Where numbers are sufficient for it to be economical to open the bar then we can offer a well stocked and fully staffed bar for the duration of your event. Our bar services are provided by our village pub, The Bay Horse @ Arkholme and the team will give you and your guests a very warm welcome.
We are unfortunately unable to allow guests to bring their own alcoholic drinks onto the premises while the bar is open. However drinks can be ordered in advance via the bar for you to serve as a welcome drink, toast or table wine. Please ask to see our selection list.
If you are using the bar service for your event a £300 surcharge will be taken with your booking. This will be fully refundable as long as you do not bring in any alcohol of your own (you will not receive your £300 surcharge refund if you disregard this condition). We are sorry that we have had to bring in this surcharge due to repeated breaking of our terms and conditions.
Wedding receptions
With incredible panoramic views, this stunning and immaculate venue will be sure to provide you with a wedding that is truly unique. Our competitively priced wedding reception weekend package allows you exclusive access to the hall from Friday to Sunday.
